The Baer group works on two projects, TPEPICO and Aerosol Laser mass spectrometry. Currently, the Aerosol lab is studying the coating of oleic acids on both polar and non-polar surfaces to determine the reactivity and how readily coated aerosols form condensed cloud nuclei. The TPEPICO lab focuses on thermochemical and kinetic information of selected compounds using time of flight (TOF) spectrometry.
