The hourly rates for facility rates differ according to who is using which spectrometer at what time of day. Users are identified as departmental users (Chemistry), users belonging to other departments and other schools (University) and those from companies/industry (Outside).

There is a $1.05/hour charge for nitrogen gas (hi T or low T work) and $1.05/hour for liquid nitrogen used to cool the probe for low temperature work.

Consultation refers to use of facility staff time for training, assistance in setting up experiments, assistance with processing data, discussions of NMR experiments, etc. Samples run be staff include the consultation rate only for staff time used in setting up the spectrometer and sample and for processing.

* Note about overnight rate:
Listed overnight rates for Chemistry and University users are based on use from 7PM until 8AM the next day. The first 6 hours of use are billed.
